The Marlins might soon get a fresh arm for their bullpen.

Left-hander Andrew Miller started the season in the rotation, but when he returns from the disabled list, he could go to the bullpen.

"I wouldn't hesitate to use him in that role," manager Fredi Gonzalez said.

Miller is recovering from right knee tendinitis. His latest rehab start was delayed because of a minor blister on a finger on his throwing hand.

Miller was supposed to pitch for Class AA Carolina on Tuesday. He's now scheduled to start Thursday.

Marlins 6, Giants 0:    Ricky Nolasco on Tuesday did something no Marlins pitcher had done in nearly two years. He tossed a complete game.
